We’re on the platform waiting for the first train on our last big travel push of this trip. As luck would have it, it’s the ninth platform and our seats are in the ninth car, so we begin our trip with the letter eighteen… with life!
I’ll admit I only know this because the track/car coincidence struck me, and Google makes it easy to look for significance in serendipity. Still, I’ll take it!
We’re in Graz until Monday, wrapping up some loose ends and discussing a new project with friends. Then one night in Vienna—and dinner at a lovely Isreali restaurant with our friends Eva, Wuli, and Iris—before an early morning flight Tuesday to Vilnius, where we will be until the seventeenth. After that, a side trip to Berchtesgaden for a last little bit of darkness and then only the bittersweet work of saying goodbye to our beloveds here, mixed with the joy of returning to our beloveds in the US.
Wish us luck on our final leg of the journey, friends!
That would be a mite too much polan togetherness for me
I never want your trip to end. xoxoxox
