Visiting Salzburg's Synagogue

An Interview with Hanna Feingold, the President of the Israelitische Kultusgemeinde Salzburg

While quite a lot of this interview will be processed for the chapter I’m writing on Salzburg’s (lack of a) Jewish community, I wanted to share the interview itself with those of you who are on this side of the paywall, in part because Hanna Feingold, president of the Jewish Community in Salzburg, is just a really lovely woman, but also to talk about one of the ethical issues of conducting interviews and using the information you get responsibly. So, here is the uncut recording of the interview for those of you who are interested in hearing it.

A white woman stands in the middle of a small Jewish synagogue.
Hanna Feingold met us in the synagogue and gave us some history and talked about the current Jewish community in Salzburg.

(The other two voices are mine and Dominik’s.)
