My plan, when I finally got hold of a time machine, was not to kill Hitler but to get him into art school. . . . but I see that's been tried too from your link. . . .
This is brilliant and well written! The Jews have really been treated grievously throughout history. Like they're being punished for the value that most Jewish communities add to every place they've lived and thrived! And there is no dispute that the Jewish people needed a place to call entirely their own! And where did it make sense for them to be? The place acknowledged in the Bible / Torah that Yahweh said He was giving them!
Yes, partition mandated by outsiders has many issues and you will not be able to please everyone, but so much of the Middle East has been messed with by the greater powers. Britain, Russia, US...
The US has messed with way too much in that area and it's no wonder that they hate us.
There has to be a solution somewhere and I wish I had it. Every human has a right to live a good life, but not at the expense of hurting other people. No one is born with Antisemitism, it is learned. Same with racism. If only more people would look upon others with less division. My husband shared this:
From Bioneers podcast:
"If there’s one fatal systems error in the modern worldview, it’s the assumption that we are separate – separate from nature, separate from the cosmos, separate from each other.
In this moment of radical transformation, shifting the societal pronoun from “me, me, me” to “we” may be the single most transformational pivot we can make in order for anything else to work."
I pray for both Israelis and Palestinians that these two groups of people may find a way to see each other and heal the damage that has been done to both of them.
Sarah, I so admire your evenhanded and rational responses to the current flood of antisemitic lies.

Yeah. I still think it's worth a shot. I mean, you have a time machine. If it doesn't work, you can always go back and kill him later?
Sarah, this is absolutely phenomenal. Kol hakavod!
